BRCA Golden Helmet Championship at the Palace, Ibstock.

12th scale Stockcars have been around since the 1970s. These are a 1/12th scale version of the full size Brisca F2 Stockcars. Every year we run a national series and have a world championship. We get travellers from Holland coming to compete within the BRCA Stockcars section. 

This event at the Palace, Ibstock is our World championship for the Gold Roof and number 1.  It's going to be an amazing event with people travelling from all over the country. If you've never seen remote control car racing before then this is an event that will definitely be worth watching. The doors will be open for spectators to come in and watch. We have the current Junior world champion booked in to defend his roof, and I heard the current world champion will be coming to defend his title too. Our racers ages vary, our youngest driver is just 10 years old.

It's fast and very furious as we are a full contact formula, so you will see some crashing and some very tactical racing.  Saturday racing will start around 6pm and Sunday racing will start around 10.30am.  Everyone is welcome to come and watch. All of our drivers are happy to chat. So if it's something you think you could get interested in, come and see us.  We have hot food and drinks, bar will also be open for a time on both days.
